OpenAI will delay the voice mode feature and start working by this July. However, OpenAI has offered this voice conversation experience to a few ChatGPT Plus users.

Furthermore, they mentioned the need for more time to reach the launch standard and quality of Open AI voice. In X, OpenAI shared that they are trying to enhance the model’s ability to detect and refuse certain content. They focus on improving the user experience and capacity to handle millions of users to give real-time responses.

This feature was given to a small group of users to get responses and later this voice mode feature would be provided to all the Plus users in the fall. OpenAI is planning to introduce new video and screen-sharing capabilities.

Additionally, they mentioned the unveiling of a new AI model called GPT-4o by May, and later on, users can interact with text and images. OpenAI ensures to give real-time and quick responses to its users through this new feature.

OpenAI is very competitive and tries to build many new features. Among these features released, voice mode is most interesting as it can speak different languages, convey emotions, and sing for the users.
