Google Meet has introduced an AI-powered feature known as Take Notes for Me. This tool will further improve productivity and efficiency by automatically generating notes, identifying meeting notes, identifying action items, and also giving you times of the meeting.

Furthermore, the AI-driven feature will also record the key points discussed during the meeting, and offer a comprehensive document that will be available for all the participants. Apart from that, it will identify action items and will assign those items to the respective individuals. This action is executed to make sure that the tasks are clearly defined and delegated.

This note-taker will give a concise summary of the discussions to those who joined late and will make sure everyone is on the same page. Admins can configure whether the users can use the Google AI note-taking feature with the new Admin console setting. This configuration is in the Admin console through Apps>Google Workspace>Google Meet>Gemini Settings.

This feature ‘’Take notes for Me’’ is available for customers with the Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Education Premium, Messaging add-on, and AI Meetings. The users with any of these licenses can take advantage of the note-taking feature.
